August.




Stoughton Fair — Wednesday-July 4 at Mandt Park in Stoughton




•Chainsaw wood carving, donkey racing, wizard show and truck and tractor pull.




•Admission and parking are free except for carnival and grandstand shows.

Sauk County Fair — July 6-July 11 at fairgrounds in Baraboo




•Charlie Daniels Band July 9. Pre-sale tickets $25, day of show $30. Also features a carnival, catch a pig contest and combine demolition derby.

Marquette County Fair — July 8-11 at fairgrounds in Westfield




•Special 2010 fair theme celebrating co-founder of National Park System and former Marquette County resident John Muir with decorations and special features. Also will have live music and

Dane County Fair — July 14-18 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison




•Live music, hypnotist, alligator wrestler and carnival.




•Adult admission is $7 daily, $15 season, with children age 6-11 admission $3 daily and $6 season.

Lafayette County Fair — July 14-18 at fairgrounds in Darlington




•Stock car racing, beer garden, carnival and tractor pulls, along with musical acts Swamp Bottom Boys and Jason Michael Carroll.




•Admission for adults is $8 daily and $20 for season. Kids age 9-12 are $2 daily and $15 for season. There is a free gate on Friday for all ages. Grandstand events are extra.

Columbia County Fair—July 21-25 at Veteran’s Memorial Field in Portage




•Motocross, rodeo, carnival, bingo, beer tent and truck and tractor pull.

Green County Fair — July 21-25 at fairgrounds in Monroe




•Live music: Maggie May July 23, Lonestar July 24. Tickets to Lonestar $10-$12. Also will have rodeo, tractor pull, carnival and harness racing.




•Adult admission is $8 daily or $20 for season, with children age 8-12 $3 daily. Parking $3 daily or $10 for season. Certain grandstand events extra.

Rock County 4-H Fair — July 27-Aug. 1 at fairgrounds in Janesville




•Multiple live music performances including Tracy Lawrence and Jake Owen. Also will have rodeo, dog show and carnival.




•Admission is $4 for all ages Tuesday, $5 for all ages Sunday. Adults age 13 and up are $8 Wednesday through Saturday. Season passes are $22 for adults age 13 and up, $10 for children age
7-12.

Crawford County Fair — Aug. 11-15 at fairgrounds in Gays Mills




•Taste of Crawford County, catch a pig contest, motocross racing, demolition derby and antique tractor pull.

Adams County Fair — Aug. 12-15 at fairgrounds in Friendship




•Demolition derby, tractor pull, livestock showing, band festival, beer tents, antique tractor museum and carnival.




•Admission is free on Thursday and Saturday all day, and until noon on Friday. Admission for adults age 11 and up is $5 on Friday afternoon and on Sunday,

Grant County Fair — Aug. 15-22 at fairgrounds in Lancaster




•Auto racing, truck and tractor pull, demolition derby and mud wrestling, along with live performances at the entertainment tent.




•Admission for adults age 9 and up daily is $4, with season passes $7. Ages 8 and under are free. Also an “all event ticket” for gate and grandstand admission (excluding Wednesday’s auto
racing) is $20 through Wednesday. After that it costs $25.

Juneau County Fair — Aug. 18-22 at fairgrounds in Mauston




•Rodeo, cow dress-up contest, softball tournaments, ATV drag racing and truck and tractor pull.
